Lisa Chesters MP will be visiting two cafes in the Macedon Ranges next week as part of her “Day in Your Shoes” project.
Ms Chesters will work at Country Cob Bakery in Kyneton and Village Larder in Woodend on Tuesday, May 20.
She will meet with the business owners, bakers and chefs, assist on the front counter and find out first-hand what challenges and opportunities are facing small business owners.
Ms Chesters has spent one day a month this year at varied workplaces around the electorate, with an aim of learning about different businesses and organisations, the challenges they face, and how Government can better support them.
“A Day in Your Shoes is a way for me to get out in the community and find out exactly what support central Victorian organisations need,” she said.
“I normally love visiting Macedon Ranges’ excellent cafes so this is a great opportunity to be on the other side of the counter.”
