Listening Post at Elmore Field Days

Labor will again have an exhibit and stall at the Elmore Field Days, Labor Candidate for Bendigo Lisa Chesters said today.

Ms Chesters said the exhibit will also be a listening post and a place for community members to share their ideas on how to build stronger rural and regional communities.

“I will be at the Labor exhibit on Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon to meet, listen and learn from locals.”

“Providing fairer outcomes for families in regional and rural Australia is core Labor business and I’m about ensuring that communities get to have a say in what outcomes will make a difference.”

“Labor believes that in the century ahead of us, primary industries will continue to play a major role in creating wealth, income and jobs in rural and regional Australia, and generating export income for the Nation.”

“The Field Day’s program for this years’ event again looks exciting and promises to be another success story for Central Victoria” Ms Chesters said.
